Check out the Parrot Sanctuary just two miles from Castaway 217.   You will see a  variety of feathered friends, turtles, snakes, and the famous Cayman Rabbit “Little Bit”.   Make sure you check to make sure they are open, they run a limited schedule.

Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park & Blue Iguana Conservatory

Enjoy a leisurely walk-through colorful garden; sit down near the lake and relax in the natural display which is the home of the endangered Grand Cayman Blue Iguana. The two-acre lake also serves as a habitat and breeding ground for native birds and other rare aquatic birds and animals native to the Caribbean.


The Botanic Park is also the site of the Blue Iguana Conservation Facility, a captive breeding facility and test site for the endangered Blue Iguana population. The Blue Iguana is only found on the island of Grand Cayman.

Crystal Caves

Situated in a lush tropical forest on the Northside, Cayman Crystal Caves is the island’s newest nature tourist attraction.

All visitors receive guided walking tours. Tours are approximately 1 ½ hours and take you through the surrounding tropical forest area and 3 caves.
